While the hotel’s primary clientele remains Bulgarian, Zahov noted the growing demand from international markets. He stated that this international interest reflects both sustained regional demand and established brand recognition across the Balkans and the Middle East.

The Katarino SPA Hotel was recently ranked first among the top ten five-star mountain hotels in Bulgaria for 2025, marking its second consecutive year at the top. This ranking utilized the HotScore™ index, which assesses guest reviews and ratings from over 1,200 hotels nationwide. The hotel has accumulated several accolades, including recognition as the best four-star mountain spa hotel in 2020 and the best four-star spa hotel offering local cuisine in 2022.
