With the tourist season underway, Dubrovnik Airport anticipates a significant influx of visitors alongside aircraft carrying summit attendees. Police services are managing traffic flow and have advised residents regarding potential congestion. The expected presence of numerous international media outlets underscores the global interest in the summit.
The 3SI serves as a platform for political and economic cooperation among thirteen EU Member States situated between the Baltic, Adriatic, and Black Seas. These nations include Bulgaria, Croatia, Greece, and others. Key strategic partners are Germany, the US, and Japan.
The initiative aims to enhance regional connectivity through investments in energy, transport, and digital infrastructure. Croatia’s national coordinator noted that while East-West connections had seen development, North-South connectivity required attention. She highlighted that the current summit brings together European and global business leaders, with participants expected from 45 countries.
Among the political guests attending the summit are heads of state and government from several nations, including Austria, Greece, and Ukraine.
